Why is important to remove text formatting from external sources?

It is possible to copy the font formatting when pasting text from external sources (Microsoft Word, Google Doc,...) into the Autoklose campaign.

Usually, this is not such a good idea since the external formatting can conflict with Autoklose font and text options, can contain fonts that are not supported or recommended for use in emails, etc.

For this reason, Autoklose implemented the option to remove the formatting from copy-pasted text.

When in the Template or Campaign editor, you can access the option via the toolbar. First, select a part or all of the text and click 3 dots in the upper-right corner and choose "Clear formatting

Please note that it is highly recommended to delete and re-insert any tokens that have been copied from an external source.

Advanced and Accelerated Kloser subscriptions might have an additional popup when pasting text from an external source. Simply choose the option to clear the formatting or keep it.

Now you can add and apply the formatting from the editor toolbar, or use HTML to format text.
