Autoklose can connect and send email from any email account provided as long as you have SMTP access enabled (which most accounts do). In order to allow Autoklose to connect to your account, please follow the steps:

• Log into Autoklose with your account
• Click on Your initials at the top right and click on Settings
• Click on the Email tab
• Click on the Connect email account button
• Click on Connect Another Provider 
  
• Fill out your E-mail address (or username) and your password for your email account.
• If the configuration uses a username, enter the email address in the Alias field in the connection settings.
• If you have two-factor (or multifactor) authentication you need to enter 16 digit password instead of your email account password
  
• IMAP is optional but recommended for full Autoklose functionality (Reply, bounce recognition, and more)
• If you choose to give IMAP access please provide IMAP settings for your account. First, make sure that IMAP is enabled for your account. There are three pieces of information that are required: 
  - Server: usually in the form imap.yourdomain.com
  - Encryption: usually SSL or TLS. Your server may not support encryption, this is perfectly fine, just chose None.
  - Port: default IMAP port is 993 but your server may use a specific port.
• You will need to provide SMTP settings for your account. There are three pieces of information that are required: 
  - Server: usually in the form smtp.yourdomain.com
  - Encryption: usually SSL or TLS. Your server may not support encryption, this is perfectly fine, just chose None.
  - Port: default SMTP port is 465 but your server may use a specific port.
• Click Save to connect or Cancel to discard changes. Please note that it will take up to 3 minutes to connect to your account. If there are any errors they will be clearly displayed at the bottom of the screen.

Now that your account is connected you can start your first campaign.

Important notes:

• When only SMTP is connected, Autoklose will not be able to read and register any recipient activity that relly on IMAP access. Most importantly, reply and bounce tracking will not work. All campaigns will by default have Reply tracking turned off. This will affect some of the major Autoklose functionalities like: "Remove the recipient from the campaign after the reply", "Add to the Do-Not-Email list and Remove from all active campaigns in case of a bounce."
• If a connection is established using a configuration that requires a username instead of an email address, you must enter the email address in the Alias field within the connection settings. For more details and instructions on Alias, refer to this article.
